The Ghana Disaster Fund has the following objectives:
1. Raise funds from the general public to pay the medical bills of the 33 victims on admission at 37 military hospital including those victims who suffered severe burns currently at the hospital’s intensive care unit as a result of the June 3rd, 2015 fire and flood disaster in Accra, Ghana. Some of the victims will need extensive plastic surgery and rehabilitation.
2. Offer help to 37 Military Hospital in terms of medical supplies as and when needed – so far:
antibiotic creams for treating burns
3. Be transparent about its accounts and provide a monthly statements of its financials activities to be published on Facebook.
